Draft Beer Update:
Manayunk Daydreamin Session IPA was pouring really bad so it had to be taken off. In its place is Great Lakes Sharpshooter Session Wheat IPA. It is peppered with rounds of whole orange peel and fully loaded with Jarrylo hops.
Allagash White replaced Destihl Weissenheimer Hefeweizen. A lovely interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer that usually goes pretty fast here.

Draft Beer Update
We let Chris have a well deserved day off and four beers kick: Weyerbacher Last Chance IPA, Troegs Dream Weaver Wheat, Prism Misdemeanor of the Third Degree, and Manayunk Festivus.
And four beers were tapped to replace them, sort of.
Tapped:
Do Good United Ale (quarter) - the flagship beer from the li'l brwewery from Port Richmond is a blood orange cream ale. It's both unique great. Being unique in today's beer world is hard. Being is great is always hard today or anyday.
Philadelphia Pennsylvania Pale Ale (quarter) - a rock solid pale ale from the not so li'l brewery in Kensington.
Destihl Weissenheimer Hefeweizen - due to some technical issues, we had to untap this one. Which is a bummer because I was really looking forward to it. Destihl has doing amazing things with their canned sour ales that don't break the bank. I'm really looking forward to trying a "normal" beer from them.
Great Lakes Erie Monster - this is a giant double/triple IPA that clocks in at over 9% ABV. Drink ye with caution oh hopheads.

Our Web redesign is coming along. I've been teaching myself CSS for the last few weeks. I've finally got to the good part with the really cool but involved stuff. It will take a few weeks until the site is ready for prime time. Thanks for bearing with us in the meantime.
This Week at the Grey Lodge
Tuesday
Taco Tuesday: Tuesday is Taco Tuesday from 5pm to midnight. Our kitchen krew comes up with three different tacos every week. Tacos are 3 for $8, mix and match as you like. The current week's selections are updated here every Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday
Quizzo: Wednesday we have Quizzo at 8pm. This week's Quizmaster is Jack. As usual Quizzo will be on our 2nd floor.
Saturday and Sunday
Weekend Brunch: Saturday and Sunday, we serve Brunch from 10am to 2pm. In addition to our regular brunch menu, we have a brunch special every weekend. Our regular menu is available too. This week's brunch special will be announed later this week.
Draft Beer Update
On our lager line, Victory Scarlet Fire replaced Stoudts Gold. Scarlet Fire is an authentic rauchbier, which isn't for everyone. Either you are into the smokiness or you ain't. If you ain't, that's OK, you don't have to like every style of beer. Our log does not judge, nor do we. But for those of us who love rauchbiers, they don't get better than Scarlet Fire. It's like being in Bamberg drinking fresh rauchbier from one of their many breweries.

Attention Blog Readers
We're not really sure if anyone actually reads our blog and are considering replacing it with increased updates to our Facebook page.
Our Website really has been around since forever, way predating social media. So now we find ourselves doing a lot of duplicate entry. So folding the blog into Facebook timeline posts seems like an efficient way to go. This would be part of a major, major overhaul and complete rethinking of our Website and the place Websites have in today's world.
But what you think? Do you read the blog? Would having regular Facebook posts (with a link from greylodge.com) work for you? Please let us know at scoats@greylodge.com. Thanks!
