This Saturday: Philadelphia Beer Week: Drink Your Wheaties! Wheat Beer Brunch

Join us this Saturday for the third of six Philadelphia Beer Week events we will be hosting over the next week and a half. Personally I would have called it Philadelphia Beer Week and a Half, but they didn't ask me. Theirs sounds better, mine doesn't, but is more accurate.

Sat 08 Mar Philadelphia Beer Week: Drink Your Wheaties! Wheat Beer Brunch. As part of Philadelphia Beer Week, join local beer writer Lew Bryson for a beer brunch at The Grey Lodge Pub. We will have all sorts of wheat beers, including
  • Victory Moonglow (draft)

  • Philadelphia Walt Wit (draft)
  • Sam Adams Winter Lager (draft)
  • Franziskaner Hefeweisse (bottle)
  • Franziskaner Dunkel Weisse (bottle)

We will be serving various types of pancakes and our chefs will be making syrup from a Victory Moonglow reduction. Beer authors Lew Bryson, Don "Joe Sixpack" Russell and Duane Swierczynski will be selling and signing copies of their books. 11am to 2pm.
