Tapped: Sprecher Black Bavarian, Appalachian Celtic Knot, Philadelphia Newbold IPA, Arcadia Imperial Stout, Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale

Lots of draft changes last night. Almost 1/2 the line-up changed over.

This week's Stout Season beer,
Sprecher Black Bavarian, replaced itself.

Appalachian Celtic Knot replaced Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale.

Philadelphia Newbold IPA replaced Philadelphia Kenzinger.

Arcadia Imperial Stout replaced Penn Weizenbock. It's a little late to write about a beer after it kicked, but hot damn, Penn Weizenbock was smoking good. We will definitely be ordering some more. Arcadia, typical of Michigan breweries, makes many variations of porters and stouts. This is the first of THREE black ales we will be getting in from Arcadia for this year's Stout Season. Now you know what next week's Stout Season beer will be, but I suspect you already guessed.

Dogfish Head India Brown Ale replaced Clipper City Heavy Seas Loose Cannon. Loose Cannon was a big hit with our hopheads. We'll get more. In the meantime, DFH India Brown should soothe any hops jonesing.
