New Saint Feast Day at The Grey Lodge Pub

Besides St. Patrick's Day, we at The Grey Lodge Pub also celebrate the feast days of St. Andrew - the patron saint of Scotland, St. George - the patron saint of England, and now St. John the Baptist - the patron saint of Quebec.

The feast day of St. Jean-Baptiste, as he is known is Quebec, is this Tuesday, 24 June. It is a provincial holiday in Quebec. The Québécois make great beer and have some great unique food. Here in Philadelphia we will celebrating with poutine (french fries and cheese curds under brown gravy) and beer from Quebec's Unibroue Brewery.

In bottles, we will have Unibroue Don de Dieu, Unibroue La Fin Du Monde, Unibroue Ephemere Apple, and hopefully Unibroue Maudite.
