Taped: Rogue Yellow Snow

Rogue Yellow Snow replaced High & Mighty Purity of Essen (30 liter). Yellow snow is a pale ale brewed with juniper berries. Juniper is what is added to gin to give gin it's gin taste. If you have a juniper bush in your garden, give it a whiff, it will smell exactly like a bottle of Jacquin's Gin. While the smell of juniper probably comes more from the green bits than from the berries, it will be interesting to see the effect of juniper berries in a pale ale.

Update: I don't really get this beer. I didn't years ago, tried it again and still don't. I don't catch any effects from the juniper berries. To me it is merely a very hoppy ale. The upside?.. hopheads should love Yellow Snow.
