Last night we tapped a firkin of Sprecher Bavarian Black. It got tapped at 6:15 and was kicked by 9:30. Great job everyone.
And I have to say I wasn't expecting that. It's a great thing but a little unexpected. I planned to move the Sprecher from gravity pour to our handpump when Sly Fox Rte 113 kicked. Well the 113 kicked last night just as I could have hoped. But seeing as Bavarian Black happily kicked too, our handpump will be dry until Wednesday when our beer orders arrive.
