Draft Beer News
Six things kicked since last night, which pretty much worked out perfectly, since we needed to get five barrels on for Monday at 7am.
- Founders Breakfast Stout replaced Founders Reds Rye. FBS is now a Groundhog Day tradition. Beer, it's what's for breakfast.
- A sixtel of Sly Fox Ichor replaced Sly Fox Boadicea Pale Ale. Ichor is Sly Fox's 10% Belgian style Quad.
- Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard replaced Stoudts American Pale Ale. We hoped to have a Troegs Nugget Nectar for tomorrow, but Mad Elf showed up instead, which we'll save for Xmas in July. Oaked Arrogant Bastard sure makes for a great consolation beer. Nugget Nectar should arrive this week or next.
- Russian River Perdition replaced River Horse Oatmeal Milk Stout. Perdition is a Belgian style brown ale that only available at Russian River's brewpub. If it's brewpub only, how did we get one? We asked very nicely, mentioning it was for Groundhog Day.
- Another Groundhog Day tradition, Flying Fish Imperial Espresso Porter, replaced Flying Fish Grand Cru.
- With all the big bruisers on tap, we needed a nice but assertive session beer to balanace things out. Nothing should be read into this, Yards Brawler replaced Philadelphia Joe Porter. Both Philly Brewing and Yards will be pouring along side each other when we return to normality, or what passes for normality at The Grey Lodge.

This is one of the Linquest Brothers and their buddy Al, who are longtime Groundhog Day Hawaiian Shirt Beer Breakfast regulars. They always have a jolly time and make sure others do too. In fact I think this picture is from our very first Groundhog Day Beer Breakfast back in 2002 (with the magical date of 02/02/02).

Depressed, a Web comic I stumbled on for the first time today.
