Sorry for it being 3 days between updates. I was out of town for the weekend and access to the Net was limited and extemely expensive. I'd also like to note that the one manager of the Crowne Plaza Time Square that I dealt with was a total dick.
Draft Beer Update
Dogfish Head Red and White replaced Philadelphia Walt Wit. "A big, belgian-style Wit brewed with coriander and orange peel and fermented with Pinot Noir juice. After fermentation a fraction of the batch is aged in Oregon Pinot Noir barrels, and another fraction is aged on oak staves. The beer is blended together before packaging." This 10% sipper doesn't show up in draft form too often. And when it does, it's only in sixtels, so enjoy this one while it lasts.
Victory Dark Lager replaced Victory Wild Devil. VDL is one of my favorite beers. It's a fantastic dunkel lager that Victory makes way too little of. I'll miss one when it's gone. I was hoping this one wouldn't get tapped before I got back, but the elves had other plans.
Arcadia Hopmouth Double IPA replaced Arcadia Sky High Rye. Sometime for the hopheads.
Oskar Blues Mama's Little Yella Pils replaced Erie Drake's Crude Oatmeal Stout. Great pilsners are huge favorite here at the Grey Lodge. It will be interesting to check out Oskar Blues' take on beloved style.
Yuengling Bock Beer replaced Hook & Ladder Pipe & Drum. If you missed the first 1/2 we tapped (I did), then here's your (and my) chance. This one won't be back til next year.
High & Mighty Beer of the Gods replaced Stoudts Triple. It's been a while since we've had Beer of the Gods on tap. I'm looking forward to trying it again.
