Sorry for not updating since Monday. I was down in NOLA. Jeez Jazzfest is off the hook. NOLA is a very charming city, and having several days off was really nice, but it's great to be back home. And it's a beautiful day here in Philly.

Draft Beer News
On our handpump, cask-conditioned Sly Fox Placebo replaced cask-conditioned Sly Fox Phoenixville Pale Ale. Placebo is rare one. It's made from the 2nd runnings of from the Sly Fox's barley wine.

Our Stout Season beer of the week, Stone Smoked Porter replaced itself.

A new one from Roy Pitz, Best Blonde, replaced Flying Fish Farmhouse.

Twin Lakes, a Delaware brewery that has been around a couple of years is now available here in PA. Twin Lakes Winterthur Spring Wheat replaced Saranac Pale Ale.

One of favorite session beers, Boulder Hazed and Infused, a hoppy scrapper that clocks in at 4.9% ABV, replaced another tasty scrapper,Yards Brawler.

Philadelphia Rowhouse Red replaced Philadelphia Newbold IPA.

Another wonderful session beer, Sly Fox Seamus Irish Red, replaced Stoudts Robust Porter Winter Ale.

One Belgian style beer, Victory Abbey 8, replaced another, Stone Vertical Epic 2008.

I have to scoot, so I'll update this week's birthdays later tonight.
