Draft Beer Changes
Philadelphia Fleur de Lehigh replaced Philadelphia Kenzinger. Fleur de Lehigh is Philly's spring seasonal. It's made with flowers, giving it an unsurprisingly flowery taste. What might be surprising is that flowers in beer taste good, even to dudes. And you don't have to take my word for it; Ben Cliver was quite pleased with it too.

River Horse Burnt Sugar replaced Saranac Pale Ale. Burnt Sugar Ale is a new one from Riverhorse, which has really kicked it into high gear since the ownership and brewer changes. Burnt Sugar Ale uses black strap molassses, which means nothing to me. But what I do know, is that this is a real winner. This beer has a very distinctive flavor. Jim Rice and I were quite enjoying pints of it last night.

Our Stout Season Beer of the Week, Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout, replaced itself. Milk Stout is Duck-Rabbit's biggest seller. That ain't surprising. This beer is kick ass. They have perfected milk stout. I quite enjoyed this one last night too.

One of the more "normal" beers from our friends at Dogfish Head, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, replaced Sixpoint Righteous Ale. Dogfish managed to find a way to both make a clever differenciation of a very common style and to make a great beer while they are at it.

Mothers Day
Tomorrow is Mothers Day, we will be featuring our Our Super Summer Sunday Supper Special. I'll be opening up and working the 2nd floor myself tomorrow from 4pm until 5pm when Ryan can make it in. That's a just a warning to allow you to make your plans accordingly.

Link of the Day
One of my favorite Web Comics, The Non-Adventures of Wonderella, was a good as always today.
