Draft Beer Update
Great Divide Dunkel Weisse replaced the really wonderful Duck Rabbit Milk Stout. Jeez is that a nice beer. I'm greatly looking forward to trying Great Divide's Dunkel Weisse. Dunkel Wiesse, dark wheat beer, remains a very rare style beer. It's a tough style to brew from what I understand and I have seen results from incredible to meh. Great Divide makes great stuff; I can't wait to try their dunkel weisse. We only got a sixtel of this one. So it won't last long. And if it's great, it could be gone in hours.
Founders Centennial IPA replaced Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. Great IPA replacing a great IPA.
This Weekend in Mayfair
The Mayfair Business Association is running our 2nd Annual Mayfair May Fair. There's something for everyone pretty much. It starts off with the 1st Annual Fallen Heroes Run/Walk, and you find a more worthy cause than that.
This Saturday is also the monthly Friends of Pennypack Park Recycling day. They accept all sorts of paper and cardboard plus no. 1 and 2 plastics. All proceeds benefit the park. 9am to noon. You can do both. It's a great double dip.
And will have the Something Brothers Band (waiting on Forrest's email) at 8pm on Saturday as part of the Mayfair May Fair. No cover.
