Draft Beer Update
The sign isn't the only thing that got lit up. Spaten Oktoberfest got lit up too, 13.2 gallons kicking in just about 24 hours. Replacing it is Stoudts Bretts Organic Kolsch.
We nearing the end of our run of Oktoberfests, but they are still flying out of here. Manayunk Oktoberfest also kicked. Replacing it is Twin Lakes Saengerbund Oktoberfest. Twin Lakes is a small farm house brewery outside of Wilmington DE. We got 2 quarter barrels of this one since they didn't have halves. But 2 x 1/4 = 1/2, so we remain true to our promise to tap big boy beer. Sixtels are for babies! Anyway the reason for that story is that one of the 1/4s already kicked. So this O-fest is moving fast too.
Sixpoint Bengal Tiger proves to be a very popular beer, kicking in about 2 days. We'll get more in soon, I promise! Replacing it is Troegs Hopback Amber
Picture of the Day
Today's picture is of our new Surf & Turf Cheesesteak. We add marinated, sauteed shrimp to our already awesome cheesesteak. This one is turning out to be a hit.
The Surf & Turf Cheesesteak one of many new items on our forthcoming Winter 2009-2010 food menu. I'm a little under the weather, so I'm going to on that a little more before heading home.
