Draft Beer Update
I thought a lot of things were going to kick yesterday. Looks like I was right. Off are Lancaster Shoo Fly Porter, Weyerbacher Golf, Victory Yakima Twilight, Weyerbacher 14 (sixtel), Lagunitas Brown Shugga, High and Mighty Two Headed Beast. As usual all barrels are big boy sized half-barrels unless noted otherwise.

On are:
  • Great Divide 15th Anniversary, which is today's Monday's Sixtel. Monday's Sixtels are big beers served in small glass. This one, an oak aged double IPA, sounds amazing. Get it while it lasts.
  • Port Panzer Imperial Pilsner. This is a high octane pilsner, about 10% ABV.
  • Breckenridge Avalanche, Breckenridge's early winter seasonal. Hoppy, malty, just all around good drinking.
  • Peak Maple Oat Ale. This one sounds tasty. Organic oats and organic maple. Sounds like a breakfast beer, and that's not a bad thing.
  • Cricket Hill Nocturne. This is a new one, a dark lager. I love dark lagers, and Cricket Hill has been making some great beer lately. This one is definitely on my dance card. What is a dance card anyway? Looks like it's this. Wow. Don't think I'll be using that phrase again.
Link of the Day
"Wow Bob wow" is all I can say. Mr. Dylan outdoes himself. My Xmas spirit is early this year.Link
