This Weekend: Presidents Day Weekend White Sale on Saturday and Valentines Day on Sunday
Chef Jason and his crew are preparing a special 3 course Valentines Dinner Menu for Sunday. Turns out it might be four courses. 3 courses (maybe 4) for just $22!
Plus, we'll have Dock Street Sexy Beast Chocolate Stout and Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence on tap. I know where I'm bringing my sweetie on Sunday.
We are also getting ready for tomorrow's Presidents Day Weekend White Sale. There will be contests and prizes! I know there some convincing Nixons out there, so get in here and win a prize! And of course lots of white beer.
Draft Beer Update
We are now on our last quarter barrel of Philadelphia Kilty Pleasure, Philly's most recent seasonal, a totally sold out Scotch Ale.
Manayunk St. Alpha Belgian IPA replaced Manayunk California Dreaming. St. Alpha is an IPA brewed with Belgian yeast.
Weyerbacher Winter replaced Victory St. Victorious. It's been a year or two since I've have Weyerbacher's Winter beer. It reminds of the old days in the late 1990s when winter seasonals were a big deal. Now we are wonderfully spoiled with non-stop seasonals and a beer simply called "Winter" makes little impact on our awareness.
Picture of the Day
Today's picture of the day is from Groundhog Day 2010, which amazingly was only just a little over a week ago. A time with only a little snow on the ground seems such so long ago. We are still collecting diapers for Jim Kosek's diaper drive until early March when Steve Hawk and I will take them up to State College.
