Draft Beer Update
Sly Fox Oatmeal Stout replaced Lagunitas Hairy Eyeball. The Oatmeal Stout got tapped briefly last week before needing get untapped to make way for the Presidents Day Weekend White Sale.

From Wikipedia: Oatmeal stouts usually do not specifically taste of oats. The smoothness of oatmeal stouts comes from the high content of proteins, lipids (includes fats and waxes), and gums imparted by the use of oats. The gums increase the viscosity and body adding to the sense of smoothness. Oatmeal Stouts are wonderful beers.

6pm Update: Weyerbacher Winter replaced Elysian Avatar Jasmine IPA. Weyer Winter was also tapped and untapped last week for the White Sale. I wrote this about Weyer Winter last week. I spent some effort on it, so we'll reuse it. It's been a year or two since I've have Weyerbacher's Winter beer. It reminds me of the old days in the late 1990s when winter seasonals were a big deal. Now we are wonderfully spoiled with non-stop seasonals and a beer simply called "Winter" makes little impact on our awareness. I can't wait to retry it.
