Today was our annual Groundhog Day Hawaiian Shirt Beer Breakfast. A very large thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a very jolly time. For those of you that missed it, there's next year.

Diaper Drive
I heard that Jim Kosek of Accuweather.com gave us a shot out this morning. I missed it since I was working. Who all caught it? An updated forecast about snow for tonight has replaced Jim's video on the Philadelphia pages. There is still time to drop off diapers at the Lodge for Jim's diaper drive. Steveo Hawk and I will drive them up to State College in a few weeks.

Draft Beer News
We had to temporarily untap a few beers to make room for today's Groundhog Day festivities. Untapped and returning are: Sly Fox Oatmeal Stout, Flying Fish Belgian Mild, Victory St. Victorious Doppelbock, Weyerbacher Fireside Ale, cask-conditioned Bear Republic Racer 5, Otter Creek QVH, Stegmaier Porter.

Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPA kicked last night kindly leaving us one less beer to untap.

Troegs Dream Weaver Wheat made it just far enough through Groundhog Day to make room for Stoudts Quad, which was our 11th Groundhog Day draft beer. This was a problem since we had 11 draft beers lined up, but only 10 draft lines. So it all worked out. The 2nd Troegs Mystery Keg that was on just before this Dream Weaver turned out to be Dream Weaver as well. So that was 31 gallons of Dream Weaver since Saturday evening. That's one popular beer.

Newly tapped were: Stoudts Quad, Sly Fox Gang Aft Agley Scotch Ale, Philadelphia Joe Porter, cask-conditioned Troegs Nugget Nectar on handpump, cask-conditioned Prism Bitto Honey IPA via gravity-pour, Founders Breakfast Stout
(sixtel), Russian River Consecration (sixtel), Victory Helios, Victory Mad Kings Weisse, Yards Old Bart (sixtel), Flying Fish Imperial Espresso Porter
.

I even managed to get to have a few beers this morning. The two Russian Rivers were both really stellar. Mmm I could drink loads and loads of Consecration. I also had the very tasty Founders Breakfast Stout with breakfast.

Tomorrow night during the special NFL Quizzo, I'll get to try some of the ones I missed today.
