Draft Beer Update
Replacing the always wonderful Boulder Sweaty Betty is Philadelphia Walt Wit, a crowd pleasing wit made right here in Philadelphia. What makes Walt Wit just a little different (and in a good way)? They use grapefruit rind.

The sixtel of Brooklyn Monster kicked. Replacing it is Dock Street Bohemian Pils. So we have two pilsners on tap right now (the other is Manayunk Bills Pils), which should make Neal happy. Actually that will make a lot of people happy. Pilsner is a style that had long been dumbed down into blandness. That is no longer the case. Southeast Pennsylvania is pilsner heaven. Many breweries here that are turning out great pilsners. The bar is set really high, so if you are a local brewery who wans to release a pilsner here, you bring your A game.

Replacing Ramstein Dunkelweizen in time for tomorrow night's Almost Famous event is Stillwate Stateside Saison. I hear this beer is amazing. I will have one tonight immediately after I finish up in the MGMT Bunker.

Friday Night: Almost Famous with Stillwater
Brian “Stillwater” Strumke, might not be famous yet, but he may well be the next brewing superstar. Meet him at The Grey Lodge Pub as we pour his Stillwater Stateside Saison.

Come dressed like a character from Almost Famous and get a free beer, maybe more. Here's some pix from the movie if you need some inspiration. You can watch the whole movie here, if you need ideas.

9pm - 11pm.
