Draft Beer Update
Philadelphia Fleur de Lehigh replaced Stone Pale Ale.
Loads more lines should change over today and we'll update this post as the day goes on.
11am Update: Wow two lines have changed over already.
Anil will be happy, Bells Oberon is back on tap. Anil asked us to get one in last month, and it flew out of here. We like to keep our regulars happy so we got a couple more kegs of Oberon in this week. We just tapped the first one. It replaced Roy Pitz Ludwigs Revenge
Troubadour Obscura is back on tap, replacing Lost Abbey Bourbon-Barrel Angel Share.
4:45pm Update: Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere replaced Port Mongo. I'm surprised the Mongo lasted as long as it did. That was one damn fine IPA. Southern Hemisphere is Sierra's spring harvest beer. Immediately after the hops in New Zealand are harvested, it's fall there, they are put on a plane and flown to Chico. Once they arrive in Chico, they immediately go into the brew kettle. Economically this beer makes no sense, but Sierra is all about the beer. I am told this one is in very short supply this year.
Stoudts Heifer-in Wheat replaced Brookynner Weisse. Man, I didn't even get to have any Brooklynner and it's kicked already. Happily Stoudts's weisse is great too.
1/2 Way to Turkey Day Food Specials
It's half way to Thanksgiving, more or less, and our kitchen has made up some specials for it. We have a Thanksgiving dinner platter ($11.99) and Thanksgiving on a Roll ($8). Chef Jason is baking some pies, so we'll have Pumpkin or Sweet Potato Pie on the chalkboard menu as well.
9pm Update:Heavy Seas Red Sky at Night replaced Coronado Mermaids Red. Red Sky at Night is a saison that is a pretty good beer. Enjoy it day or night.
