Draft Beer Update
Two of my favorite beers were tapped yesterday. All treats, no tricks (which are for kids anyway, unlike beer).
Victory Scarlet Fire replaced Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. Scarlet Fire is a smoked beer aka rauchbier. Smoke is one of those flavors that can you can easily have too much of. But in the right amount, smoke makes a beer especially drinkable. Many of us think Scarlet Fire has it just right. Army John even bypassed the not one but two black beers we currently have on tap for a few pints of Scarlet Fire.
Sly Fox Pikeland Pilsner replaced Stoudts Pils. Pikeland is a super hoppy yet very sessionable beer. This keg won't last long.
ATTENTION BOB RENNER!
Lost Abbey Witch's Wit replaced Mission Hefeweizen. It has nothing to do with witches, but nice for it to be on for Halloween, Lost Abbey Witch's Wit is a Belgian Witbier made with grapefruit honey and grapefruit zest.

Deepika Bunjun McGinley is married.
Congratulations Pat and Dee! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a great time. Here's to a lifetime of happiness together.
