So much news for one day!

Beer Season Opens
Our longest running promotion, Beer Season, returns for its 15th year! Things haven't really changed since year 1. Beer Season starts on the first day of Deer Season in Pennsylvania and runs for 13 weeks. Drink all 13 beers of the week, one per week to receive a free limited-edition T-shirt.

This year's themes for Beer Season are Same as It Ever Was - Beers from Way Back and The Future is Aluminum (not plastic) and the Future... is Now! See... a sort of yin yang thing going on there.

Our first beer of the week is a Way Back beer, Weyerbacher Winter. Back in the old days of the local microbrew scene, this beer was a cause for excitement when it came out every winter. Now Weyerbacher makes 50 or so types of beer and Weyerbacher Winter has long gotten lost in the mix, but not this week.

St. Andrew's Day is Tomorrow
St. Andrew's Day is sort of the Scottish St. Patrick's Day, but in the way they do it in Ireland. We are using as an excuse to focus on Scottish beer, Scottish whisky, and Scottish food (including Deep Fried Kandy Kakes - one of both kinds).

St. Andrew's Day signage will be online in a few hours (please check back).

Draft Beer Update
The first of draft beers for tomorrow's St. Andrew's Day, Duck Rabbit Wee Heavy Scotch Style Ale, was tapped. It replaced Great Divide Fresh Hop.
