Neal will be happy that we finally have a pilsner back on tap. Victory Prima Pils replaced Victory Mad Kings Weisse. Pilsner used to mean "sort of lame". Prima was the first local pilsner to really get everyone's notice way back when. One reason is that's quite hoppy. This is a really super beer; the polar opposite of lame. This one won't last long.
Great Divide Hibernation Ale replaced Copper Crow Chocolate Thunder Stout. Hibernation is a long time fall seasonal from Great Divide, out in Denver. Great Divide has been running at full capacity for a few years now, even with several sizble upgrades to the brewery. So between high demand and low supply, Hibernation is a now a quick flash every fall. This is the only one we were able to get. Enjoy while it lasts.
5:30 Update: Flying Fish Grand Cru kicked. Replacing it is Cricket Hill Nocturne, a very nice dark lager. I think we had to plug this one to make room for a St. Andrews Day beer. If so, this one is quite low and won't last long.
8pm Update: Our Beer Season beer of the week, Weyerbacher Winter, replaced itself.
I didn't get to have any Brew Dog Dogma for St. Andrew's Day on Tuesday. But I did catch up with it last night. It was so nice, I had a second one. Woo-wee that's some great stew.
Eagles Tonight
The Eagles play Texas tonight. Of course our TVs and our eyeballs will be tuned in. We got some really great beer to go along with the game. Why not watch it with us?
Today's Chalkboard Food Specials
Chef Eric's Venison Burger is back, and more. The crab cakes are going fast; I expect them to get erased before the evening is over. Eric is planning to add a wrap to the line-up. I'll try to post an updated picture if I can.
