Draft Beer Update
Lancaster Winter Warmer replaced Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. Lancaster Winter Warmer is a big winter ale in the old school style. Lots of malts, lots of hops, with a higher ABV to warm you up on cold nights such as this.
Weyerbacher Fireside Ale replaced Victory Smoking Oats. Fireside is a winter seasonal, one of several for Weyerbacher. It's a smoked amber ale with a reasonable ABV.
Dock Street Hop Angel Angel Fuel replaced Lagunitas Cappucino Stout. Dock Street brewed this "black IPA that meets American hops in Germany" at the request of our sister bar, Hop Angel Brauhaus. Dock Street agreed to take a session strength black IPA recipe, make sure it was super knocked up with hops, and ferment it with lager rather than ale yeast. It's an American Indian German non-pale black lager.
Angel Fuel is meant to be a work in progress. This is the first batch, which came out a little lighter in color than had been expected. Brewmaster Ben Potts already has ideas for batch number 2. If you have any suggested changes, or want to comment on what you like about it that shouldn't be changed, please post on the Hop Angel Blog.
Food Update
Bison Burgers are back!.. and flying off the grill. Seared Tuna is back too, both the original version and a new Seasame version. And Duck Spring Rolls are back as well. Chef Eric also a bunch of new specials on the chalkboard too, including two desserts.
