All four Troegs Scratch IPAs, Numbers 37 to 40, kicked by 10pm last night. Replacing them are:
- Sierra Nevada Glissade Golden Bock, the first keg we had of Glissade flew out before I even got to taste any. I won't let that mistake repeat.
- Port Midnight Expression, this beer used to be called Midnight Sessions. Same beer slightly different name. I'm sure lawyers had something to do with it. It's a black lager.
- Boulder Planet Porter, Boulder is one of those breweries that everything to do is great. This is a great solid porter.
- And either Flying Fish Grand Cru or Twin Lakes Wintethur Wheat. I'm updating this from home, so I'm not sure. I'll update when I get into the Bunker this afternoon.
New Bottles and Cans
We always get new bottles and cans in that pass through. They get posted on the chalkboard, but we don't always remember to tell you about them on the Blog. Today we remembered.
- Genessee Bock, the tasty lager in the pretty can. And it is an all time great value. This is a surprise hit last year and we've stocked up heavy on it again this year.
- 21st Amendment Monks Blood, another surprise hit from last year back again for a short time. This was probably the first Belgian style dubbel in a can. A little pricey but totally worth it. We stocked up heavily on this one, 10 cases.
- Innis & Gunn, this barrel aged Scottish beer is back. We have the original and the new rum cask version.
- Philly Brewing Shackamaximum, Philly's huge 10% (or so) ABV stout.
- Victory Storm King, Victory's huge 10% (or so) ABV stout.
