Draft Beer Update
Dock Street Saison Petite replaced Lost Abbey Devotion. This is the third in Dock Street's summer long series of Saisons. It' a table saison, which is a low alcohol ale that was historically brewed as a drink to accompany meals during the hot summer and as sustenance for farm hands. Saison Petite is full flavored from the use of Munich malt which lends a rich bready profile. There were no bittering hops added to this ale, only a healthy addition of flavor and aroma hops. Not one for our hopheads, but it sounds very interesting to me. Hopheads, don't worry, we got you covered and then some on Saturday when Grey Lodge Goes Bollywood.
And two nice summer beers were tapped, which will hopefully kick just before Grey Lodge Goes Bollywood on Saturday. These are Flying Fish Farmhouse, which replaced Sly Fox Falconer's Flight. And Troegs Sunshine Pils, replaced Stone Imperial Russian Stout.
Jodi's Firkin for August
The Jodi has announced the Jodi's Firkin for August. Pucker up, it's Sour Cherry Karnival Kolsch.
Jodi from Stoudts makes a special firkin for The Grey Lodge every month. We always tap it on the third Friday at 5pm.
