Draft Beer Update
It's beginning to look a lot like Oktoberfest here at The Grey Lodge. Which works out because Oktoberfest starts tomorrow in Munich.

Great Lakes Oktoberfest replaced Victory Festbier. Great Lakes makes some nice lagers. This is one of them.

Heavy Seas Prosit! replaced Straub Dark. At 9% ABV, Prosit! is a high octane Festbier, for those who desire such things.

So I finally had the Stoudts Gold on tap the other night. Jeez Louise is that a tasty beverage. I will have some tonight.

Also tonight at 5pm, we will tap a firkin of Stoudts Roasted Carrot ESB. Jody has taken Stoudts ESB, firkined it up and added roast carrots for the secondary fermentation.

4:45pm Update: High Noon Annies Amber replaced Troegs Dead Reckoning Porter. High Noon is new to the Philly market. High Noon is out of Leavenworth, Kansas. So besides making small rocks out of big ones, Leavenworth also makes beer. After Annie's Amber we have their Stampede Stout lined up.

This Weekend
Chef Eric will have our brunch menu ready to go. It's a darn good line-up of breakfast treats if I say so myself. Brunch is served Saturdays from 10am to 3pm, and Sundays from 11am to 3pm.

On Saturday night, it's a blast from the past when the Quarter Ton of Terror reunites. Duzer and Teddy will be back behind the wood together on the first floor.

Meanwhile at Hop Angel all sorts of Oktoberfest stuff will be going on.
