So here we are now post-Mad Elf/Happy You Night. Thanks to everyone who joined us. We kicked both 1/2s of Mad Elf, plus the sixtel of Naked Elf in less than 3 hours.

Kicked: 2011 Troegs Mad Elf, 2010 Troegs Mad Elf, Troegs The Flying Mouflan (sixtel), Troegs Naked Elf (sixtel), Troegs Scratch 45 IPA (sixtel), Troegs Scratch 48 Fest Beer (sixtel), Troegs Scratch 49 Wet Hop (sixtel), Troegs Scratch 50 Belgian Brown (sixtel).

Tapped:
http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/otter-creek-alpine-black-ipa/134082/" target="_blank">Otter Creek Alpine Black IPA - Some black IPAs aren't quite right in my humble opinion. Hoppy sure, but just not IPA-ish enough. If I remember correctly, Otter Creek's has a real IPA character. I have no clue as to why an IPA, especially a black one would be "Alpine". Guess I better click that link. Doing a little extra Googling, it seems Otter Creek themselves couldn't figure out why it was alpine either, and are now just calling it Black IPA.

Cricket Hill Paymasters Porter - clicking that link won't tell you why it is called Paymaster's Porter. Nor will Cricket Hill's own Website. I recall having this when it first came out, now many years ago, and being very, very favorably impressed.

Great Divide Belgian Yeti - some people just have to mess with a good thing. Great Divide is guilty of that. They have messed with around their Yeti, Imperial Stout many, many ways. And every time, it's a case of a good thing becoming a different type of good thing. This time around they used their Belgian yeast to ferment Yeti, resulting in a big, big roasty beer with fruity notes.

We had to untap a few beers last night to make room for the nine Troegs that we had on tap last night. These barrels have been Retapped:

Manayunk Hop Phanatic - a hopbomb for hop lovers.

Great Divide Hibernation Ale - Great Divide's great fall seasonal that is always gone way too fast.

Flying Fish Grand Cru - Fish's great winter seasonal that has been customer favorite here at the Grey Lodge for well over 10 years.

Stoudts Gold - a wonderful helles from the brewery that loves lagers.

Yards ESA - Yards' flagship beer, and a worthy one at that.

Toys for Tots
We are collecting toys for this very worthy cause. The box is in the back.
