We hope everyone got a kick out of Sixpoint Sabotage last night. We will have pix and video eventually.
Draft Beer Update
Kicked: Sixpoint Harbinger Saison, Amendment Brew Free or Die, Weyerbacher Quad (sixtel), and Port Midnight Expressions.
Tapped:
Flying Fish Abbey Dubbel - One of the original Grey Lodge favorites from back in the day is a great draft beer.
Prism Shady Blonde - At 4.5% is beer makes a timely appearance for Lew Bryson's Session Beer Day. We had too much on our plates for last March/early April to do something extra special for Session Beer Day, but we always have one or two session beers on tap, so Session Beer Day is every day at the Grey Lodge more or less. This is probably Prism's most popular beer. It's a blonde ale with blood oranges. The combo works great.
Oskar Blues Dales Pale Ale - I remember when Eddie Friedland told me to try this way back when the Brewers Conference was in Philly years ago. Craft beer in a can?!?!?! One taste of this and craft beer in a can was proven to be the way to go, no doubts. Here's an opportunity to try it on draft.
Sixpoint Mad Scientists #8 Ich Bin Kein (sixtel) - this is one Sixpoint's experimental Mad Scientist beers. It's a tart Berliner Weisse. It's a little less tart than some which should appeal to most. It was super refreshing last night after running around Sabotaging. This one has an ABV of 3.5% truly making it a session beer for Session Beer Day.
Sam Adams Double Pumpkin replaced Magic Hat Demo. Who would of thought we would have a pumpkin beer in April? Probably nobody, but who also would have thought we would have a crap load of 11% beers on at the same time? we just keep changing things up here, so come down and enjoy a rather tasty pumpkin beer from Sam Adams.
