The first of FIVE, count 'em five!, Stone beers for Friday's 420 on 4/20 night has been tapped. Stone Vertical Epic 11-11-11 is a Belgian style strong ale ale brewed with Anaheim chiles and cinnamon. I imagine that means it's a spicy Duvel. Sounds tasty. Vertical Epic replaced Victory Helles Fire, which I did not get to drink anywhere near enough pints of.
Woodchuck Belgian White Cider replaced Woodchuck Dark and Dry Cider. Let me tell you folks, Woodchuck has got it going on these days. Their Belgian white cider uses a Beligan wit yeast and features corriander and orange rind, just like a Belgian wit style beer. Us beer lovers have a cider we can really appreciate. Woodchuck has some other tricks up their sleeves too. So there's more interesting stuff to come.
