Draft Beer Update
Wow. Take a day off and all sorts of things kick.

Kicked: Dogfish Head Festina Peche, Victory Prima Pils, Brooklynner Weisse, Stoudts Pils, Ramstein Maibock, Elysian Avatar Jasmine IPA, Spring House Beyond the Gates, Lancaster Gold Star Pilsner.

Tapped:
Flying Fish Farmhouse - this is one of those beers that I sometimes totally miss no matter how many times we have it on tap during the summer. There is always a shiny flashy new beer on tap and I always figure Farmhouse will be on tap again numerous times before the summer is over. But Farmhouse always flies out when we tap one and there is always new shiny flash new beer or five. I got to finally have a Farmhouse last night at Jim and Joanne Countryman's house. Nice to know what I've been missing. I won't repeat prior year's mistakes. I will make sure to leave room for lots of Farmhouse this summer.

Elysian Peste Chocolate Chili Ale - sweet from chocolate and hot from chilies. A nice mix.

Sly Fox Peggy Maibock - each spring Sly Fox names their Maibock for the winner of their annual Goat Race. Peggy, a three legged goat, just won for the third time! So this will be the third time we have tapped a Peggy Maibock.

Summit Dunkel Weizen - we don't get to see too many dunkel wiezens. Which is a shame. When we get the opportunity to buy one, we always seize it. This is an especially great on draft. The bottle version is very good; on draft this one is great.

Boulder Mojo IPA - another great spot-on beer from Boulder. If you want an IPA, you won't be disappointed.

Victory Braumeister Pils-Tettnanger - Victory puts these single hopped pilsners out every so often. And when they do, we make sure to score one. This one features Tettnang hops from Germany.

Founders Cerise - Karen Z asked us to get in this cherry beer. It's a really great beer so it was an easy yes. Founders is one of those breweries that can do no wrong. If you ever want us to get in a beer, just email me, scoats@greylodge.com. We will try our best.
