The craziness of last week is over and we find ourselves with nice leisurely midsummer week.
Leisurely but not empty. Quizzo is on Wednesday as usual. This week's Quizmaster is Chris3. 8pm on our 2nd floor.
Zoning for the proposed methadone clinic at Decatur and Frankford is being appealled. The Holmesburg, Mayfair, and Tacony Civic Associations are holding a rally against it on Thursday at 6pm.
Draft Beer Update
Evil Genius Hunchback Hefeweizen replaced Free Will Destiny's Wit. Hunchback, a brand new one from an almost brand new brewery, is billed as a traditional hefeweizen. Which means it should be cloudy and full of banana and clove flavors from the yeast. I really look forward to trying this one
On the beer engine, we tapped the old reliable cask-conditioned Yards ESA.
