Draft Beer Update
Allagash White replaced Philadelphia Walt Wit. It occurred to me that we ran Allagash White a lot when it first came into Philly and then we forgot about for years. Lately we have been trying to fix that. I predict this keg will go quickly. That's fine. We'll get more.
Clown Shoes Tramp Stamp replaced Manayunk St. Alpha Belgian IPA. Clown Shoes makes about 50 IPAs. OK that's an exageration, it's like 45. I never remember what any of them are. Clicking the link reveals that this one is a Belgian IPA. Which basically is an IPA but with Belgian yeast rather than regular ale yeast. This combination is a proven winner. It would appear that rather than using Belgian Belgian yeast, they are using Quebecios Belgian yeast from our friends at Unibroue.
