Woo wee, Festivus was fun last night.
This week's Beer Season beer of the week is Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. Sierra Nevada Celebration is a real old-school Christmas ale and true iconic beer. This was a beer people waited all year for. Back when breweries typically only made one beer most of the year, they put out a more expensive, amped up version of that beer for the holidays. As a present to their customers, it was the same price as their regular beer. Sierra Celebration is in that tradition; it's a pumped up version of their iconic Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Today for Christmas Eve, we are open regular hours.
On Tuesday which is Christmas, our first floor bar will open at 8pm. The kitchen gets the whole day off.
Wednesday, it's Quizzo. Hoagie will have a special Year End Quizzo. 8pm on our 2nd floor.
Saturday, if you like crabs or darts or both, join us for Kenny's Crabby Christmas and Cricket Fiesta from 7pm to 10pm.
And always, we will be serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm.
Draft Beer Update
Affligem Noel (20 liter) replaced Scaldis Noel (20 liter). Affligem is the 2nd of in a series of four Belgian Christmas beers.
Stoudts Heifer-in Wheat replaced Hoegaarden.
Our final Troegs 2012 Mad Elf of 2012 replaced itself.
