Draft Beer Update:

Long Trail Brown Bag Batch #1 American IPA replaced Sly Fox Oydessy IPA. This is the first in Long Trail's one off Brown Bag Series. It is what the name says, an American IPA designed to offer the big bold hop aroma & flavor of a higher gravity IPA, in a more modest 6.4% ABV offering. Pure hop resins and Falconer’s Flight hops are used in this brew.

Abita Christmas Ale replaced 21st Amendment Fireside Chat. The recipe changes each year, but is regularly a dark ale.

At some point tonight, by 6pm, the Troegs Scratch 83 Impendind Descent will be tapped. It is a mind blowing, world ending Russian Imperial Stout. What better way to enjoy the last night of our lives than to drink a couple of these beers.

7pm Update: The second beer for tonight's End of World Party, a sixtel Troegs Scratch 83 Impending Descent (sixtel), has been tapped. It replaced Rogue John John Hazelnut Ale. Chris already told you about it so I don't have to. Sweet.

After this round of beers kicks, we are going full blown with Christmas ales.

Tomorrow I will be arts and crafting items for Festivus on Sunday. That unadorned aluminum pole ain't going to make itself. Ours will be made out of reused beer cans. If that ain't in the spirit of Festivus, then I don't know what is. Actually I have not idea what the spirit of Festivus is supposed to be. But at The Grey Lodge we never let a lack of knowledge or skill ever stop us... full speed ahead to Festivus! Now to update the beer list on the Festivus page. We got some great ones!
