Happenings in the Kitchen
We officially have broccoli rabe! It's been a long time coming, but we were able to get some quality broccoli rabe in for our short rib sandwich. I'm hoping the crops continue to look this good so we can continue to bring you the quality you deserve. We have some great cold weather food up on the chalkboard right now, so if you are tired of shoveling come down and get a nice warm bowl of our chicken and dumpling soup. Also, Groundhogs Day is soon approaching. We will open the doors at 7am and we will be offering a limited brunch menu until two o'clock. The menu will include a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, pancakes with fresh fruit, creamed chipped beef over toast, our famous ABC omelette, a smoked apple chicken sausage sandwich, and a smoked ham steak with grits and red eye gravy. This event is always a hit, so grab your Hawaiian shirt and come on by.
