Welcome June and your goddamn hot as hell weather. Come beat the heat with our Wild Brunch event today for Philly Beer Week. We have some excellent and rare sour ales on draft (see the update below) and a wonderful brunch menu to go with the beer. So come in, cool off and eat, drink and be sour!
Draft Beer Update:
Kicked:
Troegs Nugget Nectar, Victory Scarlet Fire, Prism Mason Hazelnut Coffee Porter.
Untapped (to return later):
Heavy Seas Riptide White IPA, Brewers Art Ozzy, Neshaminy Croydon Cream Ale, Erie Ol Red Cease & Desist Scottish Ale.
Tapped:
Ithaca Flower Power IPA, another in the books of great IPA's.
Allagash Interlude, a Belgian Ale that is aged in French oak wine barrels that once cellared fine Merlots and Sirahs.
Russian River Sanctification, a sour ale that was fermented with 100% Brettanomyces, rather than the traditional Saccharomyces.
Weyerbacher Zulu, the last of their NATO series, a sour wheat ale.
Shawnee VSOP, rare old pale ale that is aged in mature apple brandy barrels.
Round Guys Saison Du Pomme, Round Guys Buh-Nana Hammock Saison aged in apple brandy barrels,
Dogfish Head Festina Peche, the lovely and refreshing neo-Berliner Weisse fermented with peaches. This is, we believe, the 2013 draft debut of this great frakin beer.
Late Night Update:
Weyerbacher Andromeda replaced Victory Mad Kings Weisse. The first one of their Brewer's Select series named after constellations, it is an amber ale with a pronounced and complex malt profile.
Shawnee Session Porter kicked and there is nothing going on it right now, but there will be something soon enough.
