This Week at the Grey Lodge

St. Patrick's Day: Today is some sort of Irish religious holiday that seems to be popular. If you want to pop by after (or before) mass, we will be here as usual. You will be given a point for each item of green clothing you are wearing. These points have no value of any kind, but we will happily give them out. I currently have a score of two points.

Taco Tuesday: Tuesday is Taco Tuesday from 5pm to midnight. Our kitchen krew comes up with three different tacos every week. Tacos are 3 for $8, mix and match as you like. The current week's selections are updated here every Tuesday afternoon.

Quizzo: Wednesday we have Quizzo at 8pm. This week is a very special Breaking Bad Quizzo with Quizmistress E-Unit. As usual Quizzo will be on our 2nd floor at 8pm.

Weekend Brunch: Saturday and Sunday, we serve Brunch from 10am to 3pm. In addition to our regular brunch menu, Big Dan has a brunch special every weekend. Our regular menu is available too.

Draft Beer Update

Samuel Adams Cold Snap replaced Troegs Dream Weaver Wheat. Cold Snap is Sam's "normal" winter seasonal, We know it's not cool to like Sam Adams' beers but this one rocks. It's a Belgian style wit that in addition to the usual Belgian white ale fruits and spices also includes plums. The keg of Cold Snap we had on tap a week or so ago flew out of here. We tried to get some more and this is the last one of 2014, so enjoy this one while it lasts.

Susquehanna Hopfive IPA replaced Victory DirtWolf. When Susquehanna opened a couple of years ago, they did not brew an IPA and they were told they were nugging futs. Eventually they heeded the cacophony and released Hopfive. Let us know how you like it.

Unibroue La Terrible (sixtel) replaced Goose Island Bourbon County. La Terrible is a big over the top Belgian style brown ale from Quebec's masters of Belgian style ales. It smells like it uses the yeast they use for La Fin du Monde, their awesome triple. You might want to order a La Terrible and another (lower octane) beer to drink while you let La Terrible warm up, allowing the flavors fully come out.
