The nice thing about it being 91 degrees outside at 8pm is that it makes the 80 degrees in the MGMT Bunker seem cool and pleasant for a change. Upstairs on the 1st and 2nd floor, the AC is working great and temps are in the 70s.
Draft Beer Update
On our IPA line, Weyerbacher Last Chance IPA replaced Summit True Brit IPA. At 5.9%. Last Chance is a rare Weyerbacher beer that is under 7%. IPA lovers don't fear, Last Chance delivers all the IPA gang you expect.
Sixpoint Crisp Pils replaced Troegs Sunshine Pils. We love our pilsners here at the Grey Lodge, and this one of the ones we love.
On our lager line, Stoudts M.P.D. IPL replaced Otter Creek Vermont Lager. MPD stands for Multiple Personality Disorder, which alludes to the fact that this bad boy is an IPL (India Pale Lager) not an IPA. It's has all the ingredients of an IPA, but uses a lager yeast, which mellows it out just a little.
On our black beer line, Evil Genius Purple Monkey Dishwasher replaced Susquehanna Pils-Noir. Purple monkey dishwasher is a line from The Simpsons, where the schoolkids play Whisper Down the Alley. It was a catch phrase for the Evil Genius guys for a while, so when they needed a name for the their chocolate peanut butter stout, it was a perfect fit.
On our wheat beer line, Free Will Sputnik 29 Mango Wheat replaced Susquehanna So-Wheat. Sputnik beers are Free Will's one off or slightly more than one off series of beers. If I recall correctly, one of the brewers, Dave Wood maybe, would brew this for his then girlfriend, now wife. It's a cross overbeer that appeals to just about everyone.
18 minutes after I updated everything, Lagunitas Czech Pils
replaced Manayunk Schuylkill Punch. This is a Czech style pils, which means it's a bit hoppier than a German version.
