This Week at the Grey Lodge

Groundhog Day is now exactly a week away. As always we go all out for it. If you can't make it out to Punxatawney, Mayfair might even be better than the real thing.

Taco Tuesday: Tuesday is Taco Tuesday from 5pm to midnight. Our kitchen krew comes up with three different tacos every week. Tacos are 3 for $8, mix and match as you like. The current week's selections are updated here every Tuesday afternoon.

Quizzo: Wednesday we have Quizzo at 8pm. This week's Quizmaster is me! I will have a special "General" Quizzo for you aka General in Quotes Quizzo. As usual Quizzo will be on our 2nd floor. I will have bonus prizes as well, so come on out!

It's Manayunk Lager & Pulled Pork Night on Friday. Have you had one of our pulled port sandwiches yet? If you haven't, Friday is the night to give it a try. Our kitchen really does pulled pork right. Pulled pork will go great with Manayunk's Lager, which is a marzen style beer. Order a Manayunk Lager and a pulled pork sandwich on Friday between 6 and 9pm and get a free order of our award winning fries. The brewers will be on hand to answer questions and drink beer and Andrew will be on hand to give out swag and drink beer. The Manayunk guys are a good crew. This will be a fun night.

Weekend Brunch: Saturday and Sunday, we serve Brunch from 10am to 3pm. In addition to our regular brunch menu, Big Dan has a brunch special every weekend. This weekend's special is Banana Bread French Toast. Our regular menu is available too.

Draft Beer Update

Do Good United Ale (quarter) replaced itself. This unique nano brewery beer made with blood orange is a winner.

Samuel Adams Cold Snap, a really tasty winter seasonal witbier, remains a winner; for its first appearance for 2015, it flew out of here. We still have some in cans and hope to get some more draft it. Replacing it is the always tasty Philadelphia Walt Wit.

The third and final keg of Stoudts Belsnickel finally kicked. It was a fine beer but we overestimated the demand for it. Replacing it is Manayunk Lager. This Oktoberfest style beer is our Beer Season beer of the week.
