Draft Beer Update
Rogue Farms Fresh Roast Ale replaced Lagunitas NightTime Ale. I asked the Rogue rep which beer was really jazzing him at the moment and he said this one. Rogue has a bunch of farms and they grew they own barley, which they malt. For this beer they roast the malt yards away from the brew kettle and use it immediately for extra roastiness. It's also quite hoppy too.
Captain Lawrence IPA replaced Troegs Nugget Nectar. Is good.
Blue Mountain Spooky (sixtel) replaced Do Good United Ale (quarter). This wayward pumpkin ale that wound up with us. It's an imperial pumpkin ale, so it clocks it at a little over 8%. In addition to the usual pumpkin pie spices, this one has cocoa nibs and if that ain't enough, it's aged in bourbon barrels.
Breckenridge Vanilla Porter is now on the hand pump. A vanilla kiss in a rich, dark sea.
