This Week at the Grey Lodge
Taco Tuesday: Tuesday is Taco Tuesday from 5pm to midnight. Our kitchen krew comes up with three different tacos every week. Tacos are 3 for $8, mix and match as you like. The current week's selections are updated here every Tuesday afternoon.
Quizzo: Wednesday we have Quizzo at 8pm. This week's Quizmaster is Jack, who will have a General Quizzo. As usual Quizzo will be on our 2nd floor.
Candidate Meet & Greet: Our last scheduled Candidate Meet & Greet for this coming election will be Friday, when we welcome mayoral candidate Anthony Hardy Williams at 6pm. We have already met mayoral candidates Melissa Murray Bailey, Nelson Diaz, Jim Kenny, and Doug Oliver. The other two mayor candidates were either unreachable or wouldn't confirm a date. If there any candidates who haven't joined us yet, please have them email scoats@greylodge and we will fit them in.
Hike to Palmyra Nature Cove: Not a Grey Lodge event but meeting here this Thursday. Hiking Around Philly will be meeting here for some beer and food before hiking over the Tacony Palmyra to Palmyra Nature Cove. If you haven't been to the Palmyra Nature Cove yet, I highly recommend it. It is acres and acres of beaches and wetlands with miles of paths and boardwalks. The Cove is free. The hike costs $3.
Weekend Brunch: Saturday and Sunday, we serve Brunch from 10am to 2pm. In addition to our regular brunch menu, Big Dan has a brunch special every weekend. Our regular menu is available too. This weekend's brunch special will be Dutch Baby Pancakes with pineapple and mangoes and a coconut anglaise.
Sunday Night Special: Beer and Cheese Pairing. It's week two of our week 169 week Beer and Cheese Odyssey. For 169 weeks, we will feature one of the 169 cheeses profiled in Di Bruno Bros. House of Cheese: A Guide to Wedges, Recipes, and Pairings by Tenaya Darlington. This week's pairing will be Brie de Meaux and Old Forge Celestial Blond. 5 to 11pm.
