I was at Sly Fox yesterday brewing a Vienna Lager in conjunction with William Reed of the Standard Tap. Man go out to Pottstown for a day and 1/3 of the draft turns over.

Draft Beer Update
Kicked: Firestone Walker Easy Jack, Weyerbacher Quad (sixtel), Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA, Free Will Black Friday Quad (sixtel).

Tapped:
Troegs Cultivator - this is a new seasonal from Troegs It's a heller bock, which means a lighter colored lager that is a little higher in alcohol. As we know from Troegenator and Sunshine Pils, Troegs can seriously brew lagers. I looking forward to giving this one a try.

Roy Pitz Best Blonde - went on our session beer line. Regina McKee asked us to get in some Kolsches and so we are. A kolch is an ale that is lighter in color and alcohol. The style originated in Cologne Germany. Kolsch is one of those styles where there is nowhere to hide any off flavors or poor brewing techniques. So it's a real indicator if a brewery is really good or not. This is another one I'm really looking forward to.

Sly Fox Oydessy IPA - this is a seasonal double IPA from our friends in Pottstown. It has everything IPA lovers demand in a beer.

Fegley's Brew Works 10 On the Richter Scale (sixtel) - this is a biggun, which is why it is on our big beer/small pour line. Clocking in at 10.4% ABV, it requires a load of malt to get to that level of alcohol so there is a lot caramel, chocolate, and roasty flavors going on. It also has a crazy high level of hopping to stand up to that much malt.
