This Week at the Grey Lodge 

Beer Week starts on Friday, but we're not standing still until then. We have a full week leading up to it too.

Taco Tuesday: Tuesday is Taco Tuesday from 5pm to midnight. Our kitchen krew comes up with three different tacos every week. Tacos are 3 for $8, mix and match as you like. The current week's selections are updated here every Tuesday afternoon.

In addition to tacos, Tuesday also features a Blue Moon Paint the Glass Night. Blue Moon will have everything  you need to create your own unique work of art that you can drink from.

Quizzo: Wednesday we have Quizzo at 8pm. This week's Quizmaster will be Shannon. As usual Quizzo will be on our 2nd floor.

Hammer of Glory Relay: As usual the Grey Lodge is a stop on the Hammer of Glory's crazy race to opening tap. As usual we are near the beginning. Doors open at 10am. We always do something crazy for our segment of the Relay. This year we are doing Beer Drinker's Guide to the Galaxy. We expect Philly Roller Girls to roll up with the HOG at around 11am. Weekend Brunch & Morning Wood: Saturday and Sunday, we serve Brunch from 10am to 2pm. In addition to our regular brunch menu, we have a brunch special every weekend. Our regular menu is available too. This week's brunch special is a whole bunch of specials from our Philly Beer Week Morning Wood Beer Brunch Menu.

Evening Wood Breakfast for Dinner and Front Stoop Lounging #1 - if you missed Morning Wood, or if you want a do-over to try food or beer you missed from the morning, join us for Evening Wood Breakfast for Dinner from 6 to 10pm. From 8pm onward, we will sitting out front with peeps from Fegley's and Weyerbacher.

On Sunday we have two Philly Beer Week events, the 2nd Annual Manayunk Bar Olympics and Front Stoop Lounging #2. From 6 to 8pm, Manayunk will hold a number of Bar Olympic events. This was a blast year, don't miss it. After all that physical exertion, take a load off with Front Stoop Lounging #2. We will be hanging out front with people from Manayunk, Broken Goblet, and Round Guys from 8 to 10pm.


Draft Beer Update 

Yards Parallel Brewniverse White IPA got temporarily bumped for Blue Moon White IPA. Blue Moon does a have few really great beers, their White IPA is one of them. And they are having a free Paint the Glass Thing tomorrow night at 7pm. Like the Terminator, Parallel Brewniverse will be back.

Did you get any of the Alpine Hoppy Birthday IPA? Not a crazy destroy your mouth beer but my tongue was tingling from it, in a good way I think. Replacing it is Green Flash Jibe IPA. Green Flash knows a thing or twenty about West Coast IPAs.

On our session beer line, Conshohocken BuckMild replaced 21st Amendment Down To Earth. Conshy's ESB is a real stand out. I can't wait to taste what they do with this English Mild.
