Feats of Strength and Weakness
Wow, that was a load of fun. Thanks to everyone who participated, who helped to pull it off, and to everyone who attended. The big winner was Stone Brewing, represented by Lee Marren and Stone Levitation. Pictures will be online soon.

If you missed last night's Feats #1, we'll be reprising it during Philly Beer Week in June.

Draft Beer Changes
Hey Zeus, we've been pouring a lot of beer on Fridays and Saturdays. Kicking were Lancaster Winter Warmer, Troegs Pale Ale, Stoudts Karnival Kolsch, and the 4th Microstar Mystery Keg. Troegs Pale Ale and Stoudts Karnival Kolsch only lasted about a day, and those (as usual) were 15.5 gallon barrels.

Newly tapped are:
  • Heavy Seas Below Decks. Belows Decks is a 10% barley wine, which obviously is a Danger Will Robinson, drink with caution beer.
  • Microstar Mystery Keg #5, which is the final Microstar Mystery Keg. With all of the Feats of Strength fun last night, I didn't get a chance to catch this one. It's most likely something from Ithaca or Magic Hat. I'll try to report back on it later tonight.
  • Bells Oarsman Ale is a Berliner Weisse from Bells, one America's best breweries. Bells is mostly known for their stouts (they make loads of them). Berliner Weisses are very tart wheat beers, and for many is a love it or hate it beer style. Should be interesting. At least Steve Hawk and I will appreciate it even if no one else does.
  • gravity-pour cask-conditioned Sly Fox Chester County Bitter. This firkin is currently being served via gravity pour. It will move to our handpump when the Victory Pursuit kicks.
  • Lancaster Milk Stout is a very nice take on this style. It's great, and came in 2nd in last night's Feat of Weakness to find the best session beer of last night.
7pm Update: Sly Fox Vienna Lager replaced Furthermore Three Feet Deep. Vienna Lagers are an interesting style. When really on, these amber lagers have an amazing aftertaste. Sly Fox is a brewery that is usually very on, so I can't wait to try this one.

Food Specials
The Fish Tacos were a huge hit and ran out last night. They will be appearing on our Summer Menu. They will probably be back next weekend too. As of last night, we still had that really wonderful Seafood Chowder on the board.
