Draft Beer Update
Just in time for tomorrow's Quoth the Raven: Furthermore! event, Furthermore Apple Cream replaced Yards ESA. Apple Cream (aka Fallen Apple) is a combo apple cider and cream ale. I can't wait to try some.

Also for tomorrow night (but a night early), Furthermore Oscura replaced Duck Rabbit Baltic Porter. Oscura is a coffee beer, but unlike just about every other coffee beer, this one isn't a porter or stout, it's a lager. This is why there is room for Furthermore in the extremely overcrowded Philly beer market; they do beer differently.

Meet Furthermore's head brewer, Chris Staples, here at the G-Lodge, on Friday the 12th from 5 to 7pm.

The always popular Sixpoint Bengali Tiger replaced Brooklyn Cookie Jar Porter. We are hoping Bengali pulls another 24 hours and then gone vanishing act, since we need the line free for Saturday's Feats of Strength and Weakness. Feats should be an extremely fun event. From 8 to 10pm, we'll have reps from 8 breweries competing in feats of strength, while their lowest ABV beer competes in a feat of weakness. And there will be wagering (sort of). How can you have a sporting event without beer or wagering? You can't. We'll have both (sort of).
