Draft Beer Update
We have a firkin of cask-conditioned Prism Insana Stout, which Rob added vanilla beens and dry hopped with fuggles. We will be serving it gravity-pour (Firkinteenth style). We also have regular Insana on tap too. It's a chocolate bacon beer where both of those elements are evident but well balanced and not overpowering.

Manayunk Biere de Mars, this is only of those beers that pushes the limits of the saison style.

Prism Bitto Honey IPA, Prism IPA is made with honey. Now using their own house yeast, it is a little different from the original version. This is definitely a hop bomb. It was great seeing Gino last night for Prism night.

Dock Street Rye IPA, and another one for our hopheads. This one always kicks quick.

On Thursday, I said I would share my thoughts on Love is Evol, Prism's strawberry jalapeño beer, which was tapped on Wednesday but which I wouldn't get around to drinking until Friday at last night's Prism event (there were too many great St. Pat's beers to get to first). Man, it's really great. Much darker than I expected, almost black. The jalapeño is very evident in the nose and gives a wonderful peppery taste. The strawberry shows up in end taste. Anil and several others around me last night really enjoyed it too. Rob said the inspiration came from strawberry jalapeño jam that a friend raved to him about.

Kicked were Manayunk Hive Honey IPA, Stone IPA, Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale.
