Draft Beer News
Sierra Nevada Torpedo replaced itself. This makes the 4th Torpedo we think.

Troegs Java Head Stout replaced Cigar City Patio Tools. Java Head is Troegs' rep Nick Johnson's favorite Troegs beer. Troegs has some seriously killer beers, so that's a big recommendation for this one. With an endorsement like that, I'll be drinking at least one tonight.

Tomorrow is Earth Day
Friday is Earth Day. I was talking to Lenny, one of our regulars last night. Turns out he was at the first Earth Day on on the Belmont Plateau, him and Allen Ginsberg. Unfortunately neither Lenny nor Allen will be able to take advantage of the Long Trail Earth Day give-away tomorrow. Buy a pint of Long Trail (Hibernator should have turned over to Double IPA by then) and get a free Long Trail glass with a flower or eco bulb in it, and of course a tasty pint of beer. While supplies last.

Lenny has to work at Citizens Bank Park tomorrow and Allen is simply buried. I'm sure both would be here if they could. But that means the supply might last a little longer.

News from the Kitchen
Chef Eric has been busy. This week's special is lamb. It works both as an English dish for Saturday's St. George Day fun and as an Easter dinner dish.

We are now featuring a pierogie of the week. The pierogies are handmade in Port Richmond by the Pierogie Lady. We are starting of the most traditional of pierogies, potato and cheese.
