Draft Beer Update
All the rest of the Yards beers we tapped for last Saturday's Mayfair May Fair have kicked.
Kicked: Yards Chocolate Love Stout (sixtel), Yards MacDougal's Scotch Ale (sixtel), Yards Brawler, Yards Saison, Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale.
Tapped/Retapped:
Elysian Bete Blanche Tripel - This Belgian style tripel is back after coming off for the Yards event. If you want, you can drink this one today/tonight and then compare it with Chimay Triple (a standard for the style), which will be on tap next Saturday for our Gobble Up A Chimay Goblet Philly Beer Week event.
Philadelphia Point Breeze Summer Lager - this is the latest seasonal from Philly Brewing. It's a ale/lager, whatever that means. What we do is that is a very easy drinking summer beer.
Prism Shady Blonde - Prism's blood orange blonde ale is back. The combo works and people like it. Shady Blonde never stays around too long.
Full Pint Hobnobber - another beer that went off and came back on for the Yards event. This is a single hopped session ale out of Pittsburgh.
Troegs Java Head Stout - another on that is back. This is Troegs's coffee stout. With all the really great Troegs seasonal beers, we dont' get around to tapping Java too often, which is a shame. Enjoy while it lasts, way more Troegs coming back on. And very few of them will be Java Head. Though if Keith (or anyone else) really likes it and asks for it especially, we'll get it back in sooner.
