This Week at The Grey Lodge
On Tuesday night, the Lucky 13 Home Brew Club meets on our 2nd floor at 7:30pm. Home brewers of all experience levels are encouraged to join us. It's a very nice crew. You will probably make some new friends. Dean Browne of Philly Brewing will be joining us to talk about yeast.

Wednesday is Quizzo on our 2nd floor, 8pm. This week's Quizmaster is Eduardo who will be hosting a special Wrestling Quizzo.

On Saturday and Sunday, we have brunch as usual. 10am to 3pm on Saturday, 11am to 3pm on Sunday. Our regular is also available.

Draft Beer Update

Kicked: Sixtels of Allagash Vrienden and Goose Island Sofie.

Tapped:
Victory Mild Rye'd - a first ever rye beer from Victory. As anyone who has made multi-grain bread knows, rye is a sticky grain to work with. Rye adds a subtle but interesting component to beer. Mild Rye'd, get it, is described as a "German session beer", which would make it a roggenbier.  Check out that link, sounds very interesting. I can't wait to try this one.

Brooklyn Gold Standard Export Kellerbier - this is authentic German style export lager that is unfiltered. A great beer garden beer, a great sitting in our outdoor cafe on Frankford Avenue beer too. Another one I can't wait to try.
