We have yet another Philly Beer Week event planned for the G-Lodge, but this one doesn't actually take place during Philly Beer Week. Mostly because it can't. It needs a little lead time.

Do you have what it takes to be proclaimed Philly Beer Geek 2008? That honor comes with over $1000 in prizes.

A part of Philadelphia Beer Week, the 1st Annual Philly Beer Geek Finals Competition 2008 will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Johnny Brenda's. But to get to the finals, you have to win a qualifying round at a participating bar, and we're one of them.

We'll be holding the Beer Geek Qualification as part of our Wednesday night Quizzo on March 5th.

As a bonus the winner from the Grey Lodge will receive the Grey Lodge Beer Geek Crown and a hand crafted beer geek scepter.
