Tapped: Sly Fox Pughtown Porter, Brooklyn Extra Brune, Weyerbacher R & R, and Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA

Sly Fox Pughtown Porter replaced Sly Fox Robbie Burns Scottish Ale.

Brooklyn Extra Brune replaced Black Dog Ale. Brown replacing Black. Extra Brune, a Belgian style brown ale, is a specialty release from Brooklyn.

Weyerbacher R & R replaced Rogue Chocolate Stout. The Rs stand for raspberry and rye (but not in that order). This is an extremely interesting (and drinkable) take on the barely wine style. As you may know barley wines are very high octane, usually about 10% ABV or more (if my memory is correct R & R is 11.7%). They achieve that high ABV by having a large amount of malt. The tartness of the rye and the sweetness of the raspberries make for a very interesting beer.

Breckenridge 471 Small Batch IPA replaced Erie Misery Bay IPA. As usual it's an IPA for an IPA. 471, a Lodge favorite, is actually a Double IPA.
